Join in on the baseball fun this summer!

The Essex Town Little League baseball leagues are designed for boys and girls age 7 though 12. Your child will develop baseball skills as well as qualities that translate to other areas of life, such as self-confidence, perseverance, teamwork, and leadership. 

Farm League

The ETLL Farm League program is designed to teach the rules of the game and to build on the baseball skills developed during instructional T-Ball. 

• Eligible for boys and girls, typically ages 7 and 8 who have previously played T-Ball
• No scores or standings are kept
• Coaches may typically pitch for some of the games
• Games are played on Mondays and Wednesdays, typically from 5:30 to 7:00pm at Foster Field Park Fields B and C

Minor League

The ETLL Minor League program is designed to help young ballplayers understand all rules of the game, and to refine baseball skills acquired and developed previously at the Farm League level.

• Eligible for boys and girls, typically ages 9 and 10 who have previously played in the Farm League
• Scores and standings are kept
• Games are played on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
• Games are played at Foster Field Park Fields A and D and at neighboring towns’ Little League fields

 Major League

The ETLL Major League program is designed to introduce baseball strategies, to introduce competitive baseball atmosphere, and to continue developing baseball skills.

• Eligible for boys and girls, typically ages 11 and 12 who have previously played in the Minor and/or Farm League
• Scores and standings are kept
• Games are played on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
• Games are played at Foster Field Park Fields A and D and at neighboring towns’ Little League fields
